Mindfulness & Tools for Life

To be present is the greatest gift you can give yourself. This six-week course will introduce mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques. 

This online course is suitable for beginners and also for those who’ve tried mindfulness before and would like to implement a more regular practice.

During the course, you will be guided in meditation and breathing techniques.

You will also learn useful tools to alleviate stress and anxiety, question limiting beliefs, reframe negative thoughts and boost self-esteem and enjoyment of life.

Free Meditation Class for Barnardos Ireland

Next week, I’ll be marching into a new decade. My celebratory plans included sunshine holidays and maybe a trip to a yummy restaurant. But when “man makes plans…” and all that.
My mother asked me for my birthday gift wish list. To be honest, all I wanted was to see family, spend time with friends and leave the country 😀
So don’t worry about gifts, let’s do something worthwhile instead. To help vulnerable children is what resonates with me most right now. And you can’t do something good for someone without feeling good yourself.

I set the goal for €400, which seems like a lot but let’s make miracles during this time ♥ (I’ve since moved the goalposts to €500 and we’re very nearly there!)

ONLINE Mindfulness, Meditation & Positive Living Course

I’m really looking forward to hosting this course. It’s definitely a time for being present, meditating, breathing and learning some new tools & tips to alleviate fear & anxiety and to cultivate more calm, peace, happiness & fun in our lives. And we can do this from the comfort of our own homes!

This six-week Mindfulness & Positive Living course will be a relaxing haven amongst all the current global craziness.

During each one-hour session, you will practice mindulness & meditate, do some breathwork & gentle movement/stretching, as well as learn tools & tips to alleviate anxiety and create calm in your life.

Find a quiet space (headphones could be helpful but not essential), a comfortable seat AND somewhere to lie down (also not essential but could be lovely – have a blanket handy in that case), as well as a pen & journal. Use some incense or essential oils and/or light a candle for optimal relaxation.

The course runs Wednesdays 8-9PM from 22nd April until 27th May 2020 via Zoom.

Online Life Coaching

One of the favourite strands of my work is Life Coaching sessions. I love how present it makes me as I sit with my clients.

Life Coaching is a 1:1 talk therapy, which focuses on what’s going on for the client in the present moment and how they wish to move forwards in their lives. It is a completely non-judgmental process.

The Life Coach facilitates the client to gain fresh perspectives by listening empathically, reflecting back to the client and using powerful questions. This aids the client to gain clarity, release blocks and suffering, and set goals.

The Life Coach sees the client’s potential and helps them to gain insights and start living a life of more contentment, peace, self-love, and confidence.

I work with clients via Skype and Zoom.

Well of Being‘s Sharon Vogiatzi is an experienced facilitator, both for private and corporate. She has been running meditation, mindfulness & wellness classes and workshops in the Leinster area and online for many years.
 
MEDITATION CLASSES
Sharon is currently running bi-monthly 30-minute meditation classes via Zoom.
 
These relaxing classes include mindfulness, meditation, visualisation, breathing techniques and gentle movement/stretching.
 
A regular meditation practice sets the tone for your life in general, giving you space and pause to restore your energy, recentre and connect to presence and calm.
 
The classes are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 7PM and cost €5.
 
Whether you’re a beginner and would like to try it or if you would simply like to practice more and be led by an experienced facilitator, you’re very welcome.

Love is something that most of us hope and strive for and treasure when we feel it.
It’s also something we block or place conditions upon ⛔️

Because it’s one of THE most important things there is, the theme of my next meditation class is (you guessed it) LOVE 💖

During this half-hour session, we’ll meditate on love 💚

Love for and from others and love with oneself 🤗

We’ll enjoy heart-opening poses, we’ll allow our breath to embrace us and we’ll use the magic of visualisation, all the while boosting oxytocin (the love drug!) ✨

JOURNEY & JOURNAL

Journaling is a powerful and effective tool for releasing trauma and difficult emotions while also accessing intuition and inner guidance.

During this workshop, we will meditate, breathe and journey through guided visualisation as well as tapping into our creative flow while we journal.

Bring along your journal, pen (and/or pencil/colours/paints/glitter/stickers).

This will be a relaxing and insightful workshop.
